Trendy Orangery Wedding at Anran in Devon Emmi and Luke

If you love a good party then you’ll be inspired by this Orangery wedding!

Emmi and Luke got married at the spectacular Anran, Devon. It was a stunning orangery wedding, with pampas grass, sparklers and a live band to keep guests entertained.

The ceremony

The ceremony took place outdoors and was filled with flowers and a cameo appearance by Emmi and Luke's dog Callie the whippet walking down the aisle. It was a gorgeous occasion, with a family friend conducting the humanist ceremony.

Post-ceremony, we took some time out for photos whilst the guest mingled and group, taking some fun portraits in front of Emmi and Luke's carefully curated tables.

The Orangery wedding

Emmi and Luke’s guests were treated to dinner in the Orangery. The light in here is so gorgeous, and it’s got such a beautiful vibe, especially when the light goes down and the discoball gets involved!

For the reception, Brighton band, False Eyed Dolls played a set their guests, and everyone had a blast getting their dancing shoes on. Guests were then called for sparklers, to lead Emmi and Luke to the dancefloor.

The evening

The couple had their first dance to Caribou in the bunker, underneath the chandeliers, and the dancefloor was packed all evening. The DJ (and the open bar and pizza van) kept everyone going for hours".

“Kitty Wheeler-Shaw, our photographer, was the main inspiration for the wedding day. Shortly after getting engaged, I stumbled upon a photo of hers on the Rock My Wedding Pinterest. From this one image, I fell in love with Anran, the use of pastel flowers mixed with dried flowers, and her photography and editing. Her style just made the finishing details POP on the photo. From that Pin, we found our dream venue, photographer and some of our styling inspiration, all in one image. Thank you, Kitty!”
